The Navitec AI Diagnostic
Clarity. Confidence. Control.
Know where AI pays off, and where you are exposed. Ten days of senior work across two to four weeks, built for the board. The Diagnostic gives you a clear view of where AI is worth doing, what it is already costing you in unmanaged risk, and the order to do things in. No system access required.
What the Diagnostic gives you.
You are already using AI. Someone is drafting in ChatGPT, a team has wired Copilot into the day job, a tool you already pay for has added a generative feature. The Diagnostic gives you a clear view of where that AI is used, what it risks, and what value is going unclaimed, and over two weeks it works through the four questions a leadership team needs answered and hands back a map you can act on, deliverable by deliverable.
The four questions.
Understand what is viable.
Where AI fits in how your organisation actually works, and where it does not.
Find what is valuable.
Which uses would pay for themselves, ranked by the value if they land against how hard they are to ship, so the loudest idea does not outrank the best one.
Ensure what is safe.
Where you are exposed today, what the AI already in use carries with it, and what the regulation ahead will ask of you.
Plan when and how.
What to start now, what to build towards, and who owns it, as a phased roadmap.
How it works.
Ten days of delivery across two to four weeks, low disruption, no access to your systems. In the first week we get the real picture: a session with your sponsors to agree focus and risk appetite, an anonymous usage survey, and a handful of interviews, to see what AI is genuinely in use across the business. We assess governance and maturity against ISO 42001, the UK's direction of travel and the EU AI Act, and map where you are exposed. In the second week we turn that into direction: we rank the opportunities by value against feasibility, build the roadmap in three phases, start smart, build capability, scale responsibly, and play it back to your leadership team, then hand over the pack.
What you get.
- A current AI landscape report, approved use and unsanctioned use in one view.
- A shadow AI exposure summary.
- A governance and maturity scorecard, scored across six domains with the reasoning shown.
- An opportunity heatmap, value against feasibility, marked by risk.
- A phased adoption roadmap covering policy, training, tooling and change.
- And a one-page executive summary the board can read in the meeting.
- Optionally, a reusable survey template and a data-processing review of the tools you rely on.
Investment.

£10,000
A fixed engagement of £10,000: ten days of senior delivery across an elapsed two to four weeks, sized to the number of functions you want covered. Low disruption, no system access, and every finding stays private, nothing extracted or stored outside your organisation. It is sized to be a decision a leadership team can take without a business case that takes longer to write than the work does.
Why Navitec.
Two kinds of expertise meet in the work. The depth of your knowledge of your organisation, sector and people. The depth of our knowledge of AI, governance, and what is changing fast. We hold Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, and we have delivered AI governance to the ISO 42001 standard for clients in regulated sectors, so the governance we assess you against is governance we run ourselves. Where a problem needs expertise we do not have, we say so, and bring in named associates.
Start smaller, if you would rather.
Take the free Assess tool first, a fifteen-minute self-assessment that gives you an immediate read across the same four questions. It costs nothing and needs no call. When you want the depth, the Diagnostic is the two-week version of that same picture. If you already know where the friction is and want it fixed rather than mapped, Find Fix Flow is where that work happens. The first conversation is a thirty-minute call, no pitch, no deck.
